What started as a father-and-son idea is now a growing movement of compassion.
Hope was founded in 2021 by Agastya, a middle school student with a vision—and his father, Nilanshu, who believed in bringing that vision to life. Moved by the growing homelessness crisis in California, they started small: sharing pizza in the park with unhoused neighbors, one conversation and one care kit at a time.
Dream it.
Imagine a world where no one feels invisible.
Hope begins with the simple belief that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for—no matter their circumstances.
Build it.
Create a community rooted in dignity and compassion.
We’re not just distributing supplies—we’re building bridges of trust, one human interaction at a time.
Grow it.
Expand the ripple of kindness.
When one person gives, another follows. From families to entire neighborhoods, our impact grows with every helping hand.
Live it.
Make compassion a daily practice.
Homelessness doesn’t take a day off—and neither does our commitment to showing up with empathy and purpose.
Hold it.
Hold space for others—with empathy, not judgment.
Sometimes, the most powerful gift is simply being present. We listen, we care, and we stand with those who need to feel human again.
Share it.
Invite others into the mission.
The more voices we raise, the louder our message of hope becomes. Spread the word, share the story, and bring others into the movement.
